ASA 5505, two external IP:s

Hello

I am using ASDM 6.4 to configure my ASA5505. I have two expernal IP:s, lets say 1.1.1.1 and 1.1.1.2, and with netmask 255.255.255.128.

On the inside I have a SBS 2011 server with Remote Web Access (port 443). I have succesfully created a network object with NAT to redirect port 443 from external ip 1.1.1.1 to the internal SBS server to reach RWA. My next task is to use the 5505:s VPN, so my problem is how to redirect the VPN connections on port 443 from second external IP 1.1.1.2 to the ASA5505:s VPN? The outside Interface is configured with first external IP 1.1.1.1

regards

Marcus

Hello Marcus,

This cannot be done!

You will need to map the SBS server to the 1.1.1.2 and use the outside interface for VPN.

The only way to let the ASA respond to SSL VPN will be by hitting it's outside interface
