Hi guys
Has anyone tried a vpn tunnel between ASA 5510-cisco 1811?.
There is a slight variation in the crypto command. Also there is a slight variation in the class-map, policy-map and zone security commands. so if i configure a IPSEC VPN on ASA 5510 how will i match it on Cisco 1811 to be able to establish a connection. How does it work. Can anyone explain. This will be of great help.
Thanks

To start with, I will disable the zone base firewall first on the IOS router, and get the VPN working. Once you get the VPN tunnel working, then you can add in the zone base firewall configuration if required. This is to ensure that we don't troubleshoot all different things when it's not working.

Okay. So I have to first establish a ipsec vpn connection and then go about doing the class map right?
