ASA 5510 configuring ethernet interfaces problem

New ASA, was made "config factory-default"

Then I set to Ethernet 0/0 192.168.164.56/22. But when I tried to ping it "ping 192.168.164.56", I've got "No route to host 192.168.164.56". What's the problem?

My running-config:

Issue the command "show int Ethernet0/0" and see if the interface is up.

Also to make a complete configuration go ahead and assign a name to the interface and a security level.

interface Ethernet0/0

nameif myInterface

security-level 99

no shut

Thanks!

Thank you very much. The problem was solved by this two lines:

nameif myInterface

security-level 99
