We just purchased 2 x ASA 5510. Since the ASAs have the ability to filter URL, I was wondering if it work as well as Websense.

You are incorrect. The PIX/ASA actually uses the filter commands to match filter traffic and send it to a URL filtering server (such as Websense or N2H2). The ASA/PIX doesn't filter URLs on its own basically. You must use an external server for this.

Please rate if this helps.

so what's the "Content Security and Control Security Services Module (CSC-SSM)" for??

Found the answer I was looking for.

Although there are similarities between the CSC-SSM and Websense URL and content filtering products, the CSC-SSM solution is much more tailored to the small and medium enterprise (SME) customers. Websense is the worldwide leader of web filtering and security for the enterprise market with nearly 30% market share according to IDC. The CSC-SSM URL filtering solution offers basic policy management and content filtering functionality for SME customers, as part of an all-in-one content security solution. The Websense offering is a standalone solution that provides a more robust and sophisticated approach to web filtering and security targeted to enterprise customers. Websense and Cisco maintain a strong partnership through seamless off-box integration of Websense's web filtering and security solutions with all Cisco ASA 5500 Series appliances. This off-box integration leverages proprietary interfaces jointly developed for high performance and maximum feature support. Websense products provide a mature and robust web filtering and security solution that complements the Cisco ASA appliances and CSC-SSM solution.
