ASA 5520 multi context high memory usage

Hi,

The ASA 5520 device this morning started a very high memory usage and when I do sh memory detail in the PCI context, it showed me the following:

sh memory detail
Used memory: 4291012260 bytes (799%)
------------- ----------------
Total memory: 536870912 bytes (100%)

Most used memory: 4294867692 bytes (800%)

and admin context is all good.

The IOS of this ASA is 8.2(4)1

Is there anyone can give me a clue where I can go for to trouble shoot?

hi,

it could be a cosmetic bug. firewall services and network traffic might stop or get dropped if memory shoots above 100%. i suggest opening a TAC case and/or upgrade to 8.2.5(59).
