ASA 5520 : Upgrade question for 8.2(2)

Dear All,

Does anyone know the memory (DRAM) requirements for ASA 5520 for 8.2.2?

The ASA 5520 i have is pretty old and is having 256 MB CF and 512 MB DRAM and is running 7.2(3).

Is this enough for 8.2(2)?

I went through the release notes for ASA 8.2(x) but they only mention that upgrade is required for ASA 5510 (if show memory shows less than 20% free).

The documentation does not clearly mention that 5520 with 512 MB DRAM requires an upgrade or no?

I am saying this after reading from the following URL:

Hi,

You can run 8.2(2) on ASA 5520 with 510 MB RAM (however the documentation is saying to watch for performance and resources) you might need an upgrade (not mandatory)

If you were to run 8.3(1) then you will need 2 GB RAM on ASA 5520
