ASA 5520 with CSC-SSM-20

Hi!

I have purchased a Cisco ASA 5520 having a CSM-SSM-20 module.

I have got the Product Activation Key (PAK) that must be used to register the device on Cisco.com.

I understand that when I register the product, a license will be made available which must be used as Activation Code in the CSCSetup Wizard.

My query is:

Will the CSC SSM subscription status be active as soon as I register the device on Cisco.com using the PAK

Or

Will it be active only after I have registered the device, got the license and completed the CSC Setup Wizard?

The CSC SSM subscription status will be activated as soon as you registered the device using PAK from cisco.com licensing page.

Hope that confirms it.
