i have an older ASA5525 (non-X) with 8MB RAM, and just 2 interfaces working as a small DMZ for a few dozen devices. one thing that has been bothering me for some time is when almost nothing happening -- and a single host on the other side of the FW - connected on fiber to a dmz uplink and copper 1G on the inside.. I get lousy throughput. if I try to move a 200-900Mb file, it literally takes 5-15 min maybe ..starts up strong and dwindles down to <400kbps .. been looking at a lot of settings and confused as to why I cant even seem to get at least 10Mb out of this using a straight copy from a share on both ends.
anyone know what I can try looking at ?
