ASA 5525-X licence activation

Good evening
I have a little problem for activating the ASA 5525-X ips license. I would like an explanation please. I installed the FMC platform to manage my ASA 5525-x with IPS module. I bought the FMC and ips licenses but I received only one PAK and PIN in the contract. I would like to know if I should receive another PAK for IPS because I feel that the PAK I received is only for the FMC. I registered the PAK in the traditional license and I received a .lic file but when I copy the content of this file and I paste it on the license key part I receive a message that FMC 6.1 and later version does not require license. So how to activate ips license.

Cordially

Yes, I'm talking about ips modules. Can we  activate the license for ips modules from the FMC PAK? I'm talking about control and protection licenses. I ordered the following license (Cisco ASA5525 FirePOWER IPS 1YR Subscription and SWSS UPGRADES Cisco Firepower Management Center,(VMWare) for10 DEVICE) and I received a single PAK in the contract. I want to know if this PAK allows to activate at the same time the license protection. or else I must be given different licenses for the FMC

You require the ASA 5525-X Control + protect license (ASA5525-CTRL-LIC=). It would have its own PAK that would have to generate a separate license file using your FMC. That SKU must be ordered separately but, as I already said, it is past end-of-sales as the ASA 5525-X Firepower service module is also past end-of-sales.

Assuming you are asking about the Firepower service module on your FMC-managed device, the IPS license is a right-to-use and does not use a PAK. You do need the no cost Control license; but that product is past end-of-sales at this point and you cannot order new ones.
