ASA 5545 session hangs up.

We have ASA 5545, when we execute show run or show run | in ... , the session hangs and does not come back. this issue happen only in the active unit. The standby mode, session comes back immediately.

 

I did not have any high CPU, leak memory, overrun or any huge traffic on ASA.

 

But we faced a failover trigger process before 3 days, the active unit became failed due to interface failed and secondary became active. after that, the secondary failed and the active became standby unit.

I have seen this before and most of the time its either low free memory or
a bug. I don't recall the ASA code version but worth checking with TAC and
maybe an upgrade since you already have a pair which reduces the downtime

Verify there are no captures running on the asa and clear the buffer.

Share the logs, If there are any logs generated otherwise connect to TAC team.

I did not have any logs, but it is a new version!
