Hi,

Yes you can use them, if yeou are referencing to the ones shown in the doc blow:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/hw/maintenance/guide/overview.html

Hope that helps

Thanks varun,

yes I was referring to Figure 1-3     Rear Panel LEDs and Ports for the Cisco ASA 5550

Basically I need to use

GigabitEthernet ports -  GigabitEthernet 1/0, GigabitEthernet 1/1,

SFP ports -  GigabitEthernet 1/2, and GigabitEthernet 1/3

Both at the same time

I hope this works fine as you said.

Yes that should work fine as per your requirement.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Just to add to this question, does the SFP ports supports both singlemode and mutimode SFPs.

Regards

Imran

Not sure if you made a typo, but you can only use one media-type or the other in the SSM module. So you should be using slot0 for your copper and slot1 for fiber. And yes the SSM supports both SM and MM, but you would typically only use SM for very long distances.
