ASA 5585‐X FirePOWER

Hi,

We r going to buy a two pair of ASA 5585‐X FirePOWER to work as A/S, but I confused with license issue, do I need to perchase 2 license for FirePOWER IPS and AMP ...etc.

Or only one licesnce can work on active one ? or how?

You need a license for each physical appliance in order to have the FirePOWER module able to receive and apply policies as defined by the FireSIGHT Management Center (FMC).

You also need a license for the FMC server as it is what manages the ASA modules, including their licenses.
