when I press continue I get the message in the first pic. I cannot solve the issue can any help with some hints ?

couple of reasons,
1. check do you have right version of java
2. do you have local user created ?

thanks for ur reply .when connecting to ASA from chrome , i get a message to install ASDM and java , i used those links and installed them . is that ok or some specific version of java must be installed??
I created a user on the management interface and enabled http on the server

its all depends on what is theb ASA verison and ASDM Version you using.
you can check the compatability of java from the release notes
or provide us the information so we can suggest you.
