ASA Firepower 6.0 as a proxy server

hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to configure ASA Firepower services to act as a proxy server? Either ASA itself or sfr module.

My ASA is 5515-x firepower, software is 9.4(2)11, ASDM is 7.5(2)153, sfr module is 6.0.0-1005.

Thank you.

For that you can use the "Captive Portal" feature that is new with version 6.0. Take a look at the following link:

Like an explicit proxy? If yes, then the ASA/Firepower will not do that. The Cisco product for that solution will be the WSA (Web Security Appliance).

Thank you for answering me. So is there a way to authenticate clients that want to access internet through asa? I mean something like ise portal to authenticate through web page. Actually I want to authenticate users and also have a simple accounting on bandwidth usage.
