ASA Firewall with BGP AS.DOT notation

Daniel Smith

I have a firewall with BGP running  and the AS number displays as:

router bgp 65307.40565

It is a multicontext firewall and I see that at the system level, the following command is in place:router bgp 65307.40565
bgp log-neighbor-changes
bgp asnotation dot  <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Is there any impact if I remove that configuration:

no bgp asnotation dot

Tx!

Hi @Daniel Smith ,

This command only changes the way the ASNs are displayed locally. There is no impact.
