Hi Guys,Please i just want to know if:

Can we use IPS with FDM ?

Can we configure Etherchannel and IPS from CLI of the ASA FTD ?

Hi,
Yes, IPS is configured within FDM. No, you cannot configure etherchannel or IPS from the CLI of the ASA FTD. You only configure the mgmt interface on the cli, the FDM or FMC must be used to configure everything else (including the external/internal interfaces).

And since the Etherchannel cannot be configured from FDM the FMC is Required?

Looks like as of 6.2.2 etherchannel is not configurable in FDM, it is if you use FMC though.
