ASA's Interface Down.

Hello everyone,

My outside interface on ASA firewall suddenly came down:

Interface Ethernet0/0 "outside", is down, line protocol is down

could someone help me with the posible reasons that could cause this? I am remotely connected to it.

Hi,

Need more details. Where is the outside interface connects to? If it connects to a switch or internet provider routers, the other unit may be down or the cable that connect to this interface went bad. Check it out.
