ASA Software for ASA5512-X with FirePOWER Services for Management with ASDM

I am upgrading an ASA5512-X CX with system image file disk0:/asa914-smp-k8.bin, for an ASA5512-X with FirePOWER Services.

I will manage it using ASDM, rather than use the FirePOWER Management Center.

What kind of image I have to use, .bin file (asa952-smp-k8.bin) or .SPA file (asa952-14-lfbff-k8.SPA)?

On the page of Cisco ASA5512-X with FirePOWER Services (http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/security/asa-5512-x-firepower-services/model.html#~tab-downloads) there isn't none link to ASA OS Software, only FirePOWER Services Software for ASA and Firepower Threat Defense Software.

If you already have an ASA running with CX module, please refer the following link and uninstall the existing CX module.If your ASA version is not compatible with the Firepower integration you can upgrade the ASA version . All the OS images will be available in the Cisco website software downloads sections.

Once its uninstalled integarte the Firepower module using the .pkg and .img files for installation.
