Hi
I have configured ASA 5510. Everything works fine except for static NAT. Any machines havin translation rules do not browse the net at all. But If I remove the translation rules and use PAT on the interface IP eveything works fine.
The same happens when I try any translations using the DMZ.
All access rules are also applied on inside and outside interface so that any traffic can pass through.
How do I resolve this as I have my mail server on the inside?
Regards
Mahesh

I too have the same problem. I'm trying to get our mail server working on our ASA5510. I've been following Doc ID 63872 using the ASDM 5.0 utility. It seem like the server isn't making it out of the DMZ. The logs only show deny of port 137&138. No message about port 53, 80, or 25.
I have rules setup the allow any TCP/UDP out and 53, 80, and 25 in.
Thanks for any help.

Hi
It worked. I connected a cross cable directly from my router to the ASA. It worked. All problems off in just one cross cable from router to ASA/PIX
