I have a question about ASAs in transparent mode with 9.1 software version.
I have read that in the newer versions in transparent mode, you have to configure interfaces to belong to a bridge-group. Each bridge-group behaves independently from each other and per context you can configure a maximum of 8 bridge groups.
I havo also read that you cam configure 4 interfaces per bridge group.
My question is regarding these 4 interfaces per bridge group, for my understanding I in transparent mode you usually have one interface for the INSIDE NETWORK (configured in one VLAN, for example INSIDE VLAN) and one interface for teh OUTSIDE network (configured in the OUTSIDE VLAN). But what about these 2 extra interfaces you can configure in the bridge group? I suppose you can only configure them belonging to already defined INSIDE or OUTSIDE VLANs or am I wrong and you can configure them in new VLANs?
If you only can configured the in the INSIDE or OUTSIDE VLANs, are you able to define ACL between for example 2 interfaces who both belong to the INSIDE VLAN?
