ASA5505 blocking email (yahoo, Gmail) going to MDaemon Mail Server

Hi Experts,

I would like to seek your help regarding my problem with ASA5505. My setup is:

Internet--ASA5505--Switch--Server/PC.

When the server is directly connected to internet using 2 lan card, yahoo mail can be received thru MDaemon mail server.

But when I attached the ASA5505, all emails coming from other email services (Yahoo, Gmail) are always blocked. My ASA software version is 8.0. And the server is statically NATed from Public to private.

Hope you could help me on this one.

Try turning off 'inspect esmtp' in your global_policy.

I had the same issue. MDaemon uses SSL/TLS, so just disable ESMTP inpection. Here is the link:
