ASA5510 packet capture problem - ERROR: Unable to create capture <MYCAP>

I'm trying to do a simple capture on an ASA5510 v8.2(5) which I have performed in the past.

Now I get this output when trying to create my capture:

asa# capture MYCAP access-list capin headers-only interface inside
ERROR: Unable to create capture <MYCAP>

ACL is simply:

access-list capin permit ip host 192.168.1.2 host 192.168.2.2
access-list capin permit ip host 92.168.2.2 host 192.168.1.2

Any ideas?  I cannot find anything on the web about this sort of problem and I've never encountered it before on this ASA.

Have you tried a pcap config through the GUI as well?  does it give you the same result?

I tried the ASDM packet-capture wizard and it runs, but never captures any packets.

I made sure with ASDM that the capture I created was one that would actually capture something - i.e. browse to external site - did not capture any packets.

I haven't a clue as to what this is.

A reload fixed the issue.  I'm surprised this has not been reported before.
