I have read quite a few articles online but I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this seemingly simple question. Unfortunately, I can't test it out on my gear either. Is it as simple as subinterfaces or is that not possible with a bridge-group? Do I have to use multi-context? What is the recommended approach for the following scenario?
[Layer 2 switch (VLANs 10 & 20)] --trunk-- [ASA 5515 (transparent mode)] --trunk-- [Layer 2 switch (VLANs 10 & 20)]
Imagine the gateway for these two network off of one of the Layer 2 switches.
Thanks!

As I know Sure Yes you can use ASA transparent mode with trunk connect to L2 SW

I do lab and as I mention the transparent ASA mode accept trunk and vlan.
I config SW and attach two router with two vlan and make R1 be GW for both routers and I success ping through ASA after add inspection icmp and allow icmp in g0/1.
so Yes sure you can

Thank you for the information and for taking the time to set up a lab! Can you share the ASA configuration? I'm just curious to see how it is set up.
