I added more memory in asa5580-40 and all I get is beeping sound with LED red on SYSTEM.
I added from 12 to 32, I could not find any documentation about the maximum memory for asa5580-40
Nothing is showing in the console.
Any help or info, I appreciate it.

hi,
i think you're doing an overload and you'll just need 12 GB RAM (which is standard) to run the newer ASA codes (8.3+).

The reason I'm upgrading it is because I'm getting a MEMPOOL_DMA 77% and at one point we reach 92% that causes my site-to-site to fail to establish connection. Unfortunately we remove this device in our smartnet contract due to EOL and EOS, I can't open a TAC case for it.
Inside the 5580-40 has 32 slot for RAM, so just I'm assuming that it can take 32GB.
