ASAV failover configuration on AWS zone

Can we have failover on ASAv  , when both appliance are configured in different zone of amazon cloud?

Standard ASA high availabilty failover requires a L2 connection between active and standby. Unfortunately L2 connectivity between VMs in AWS is not possible. We are investigating alternate solutions.

Has any progress been made on HA in AWS.

With the interface limit of 3 interface and 1 management, this would restrict this functionality in any event. Is there a reason why the ASAv can not be installed on a c3.4xlarge that support 8 interfaces?

Hi  Bernardo,

Can you please let me how to do config sync between Active and Standby firewall ? I am not able to find any suitable way to do that.
