ASAv Upgrade

Is there any difference between upgrading a hardware ASA vs an ASAv deployed in Azure?  Currently it's running older code and I want to upgrade to 9.18, but noticed that if I do a "sh flash" the current image isn't listed and if I do a "show asdm image" it references an image stored in boot:/.  As it's in Azure and there is no easy recovery if things don't go successfully I wanted to double check before proceeding.  I was able to copy the image over via vtp and set my boot variable to disk0:/image.bin, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

I was able to upgrade this last night. Only issue was ran into a bug, CSCwc87963  , which prevented the license from being recognized so went into the default unlicensed state w/ the connection and throughput limits, despite being on a known fixed release.  A reboot fixed it.
