ASDM 7.6(1) unable to load the firewall configuration

Hello, I am unable to load the asdm from my workstation anymore. It has been awhile since I have used the ASDM on here because i usually just use putty to make changes.  I am however tying to setup a VPN connection and need into the ASDM.  Is there a problem with this version of ASDM? I have some of the earlier version but not the latest version. Please advise.

Hi Brian -

Check the "asdm image <path>" command from the CLI.  Does the entry exist and does it point to an image that is actually on the ASA?

I would also like to add that make sure you have permission to access the asdm from your workstation.

Firewall should allow your PC to access it via asdm and http should be enabled:

http server enable

http 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 interface name

Before I got the same problem. I try Java 7 update 51. It's work.
