ASDM image not installed on out-of-box ASA 5506-X

I have a noob question, so apologies in advance.

I do not seem to have the ASDM image installed on my new ASA 5506-X (refer below)

I have seen other posts suggesting this can be downloaded from Cisco's website, but despite creating an account, I could not download the file as I do not have a support contract.

It feels like I must be missing something, as I am pretty sure ASDM is base-level functionality. Hoping someone can assist?

Is this a refurbished ASA or a brand new out of the box ASA?  You should have the ASDM image preinstalled on brand new ASAs.

I suggest you contact the reseller you purchased this from and ask them to provide you with the ASDM image.

Otherwise you will need to contact your local Cisco partner and ask them to provide with the ASDM image.

I just got a Cisco ASA 5506X-BUN-K9 with same problem.

No ASDM image on the device.

I have one more I haven't cheked yet. I will try that tomorrow.
