asdm loading very slowly

Just setup a new 5506-X with FirePOWER and have noticed performance issues as it relates to the ASDM. Using ASDM to manage the ASA parts runs fine and is fast, Touching any tabs for the Sourcefire pieces is extremely slow and at times unresponsive. I am running the latest ASDM 7.42 and asa 9.41 code.

I am assuming with Java, where the asdm is taking forever to load. Then when it does load I can't do anything because it takes so long to load. The issue only occurs if I am connecting to the ASDM over any port other than 443. Has anyone else had this issue before and found a solution? It's got to be a java setting, but I have no idea what it is. Thanks!

ASDM 7.42 and asa 9.41 code.

is this right code you mentioned here. how was your compute CPU when you load ASDM.

if ASA running 9.4, and 7.4 ASDM they are quite OLD version you need to uplist atleased supported versions.

Check the Device requirement as below  for the ASDM :

I have been having similar issues. I thought it might be Java too. Could you explain what you have changed with Java. I have made sure I am using the current version of Java, cleared the cache, and have added the ASDM address to the trusted sites in Java.

Thank you
