Hello guys!

I have two firewalls working as HA with the IOS version asa963-1-smp-k8.bin and ASDM asdm-781.bin and I already tried with the version asdm-792-152.bin, this last version worked for a wile and now is not opened anymore and I couldn´t figure out the reason.

I have a jump server that I use to access all my decives and I have the many others firewalls and only this one is not working.

I have another par of 5525 with the same IOS and same ASDM working fine.

Attached the error.

Note: I can´t change the JAVA, because this jump serve is used to access around 100 others firewalls

Is this a new setup? From the picture, it looks like you are also managing the Firepower (SFR) module with the ASDM. Do you know what version of the SFR is running on the ASA?

If you are running 6.0.1 or prior releases, you could be hitting the following bug:

Hello Rahul!

I'm running the firepower 6.1.0-330.

No, is now a new setup, this firewall is already in production for more than 01 year, this issue happened few months ago and I change the ASDM version and start work again, but now, is not.

Strange. Can you ping the management IP address of the ASA and the Firepower module? Does ASDM show any other error message before reaching this point?

rather than opening the ASDM plug in from the desk top. can you browse to the mgmt IP address and choose RUN asdm, i have had cases where this makes a difference.
