Hi All,
On our ASA 5510 we have two security contexts. After opening ASDM I can see and manage admin context, but cannot see second context. I can do changes to second context via CLI but as probably you know it's easier and quicker doing it via ASDM.
Any ideas how to fix it?
TIA
Marcin

What is the version of ASA as well as the ASDM?
Are you able to see the second context on the left hand side?
Example as follows:
If you do, you would need to click on the second context to configure it.

Hi Jennifer,
The only thing I can see is just IP of the ASA in ASDM (like you have localhost:55000) and clicking on it I can go to firewall config (which is admin config rules) etc,
I cannot see admin or even System.
Details I got:
Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 8.2(1)
Device Manager Version 6.2(5)53
Thanks for help.

Can you pls share your configuration, ie: system and admin context.
Also, if you ASDM to the second context ip address, does it work?

Hi,
I am using management IP to connect to the box. But like I mentioned befeore context is working and I can apply changes via CLI. I used many different servers to connect and different version of Java, but no luck.
In terms of config, nothing has changed, it stopped working after reboot.
Any ideas?

Strange, are you able to reload the firewall again and see if that resolves the issue?

will that make connections being dropped? this is production firewall, so I am very carefully to anything like that. After reboot before this one, that context (not dispalying) was completely corruted.
Marcin.

Yes, connections will be dropped while the firewall rebooted so i would suggest that you reboot it after hours.
Please save the configuration before you perform the reboot.
