ASDM Strange Values under Standard ACL

QUARK TARO

I am defining standard ACL using ASDM and I see the values in user column even though I have not defined those values. What is the root cause?

I just need to define source/destination IP and port number.

Karsten is correct - the user column values are a cosmetic bug in ASDM 7.7(1).

If you revert to any earlier version (I suggest 7.6(2.150)), it will go away.

  1. There are ASDM-versions that are not displaying everything correctly. I lately observed that with 7.7(1), where the latest 7.6 worked fine. If you want to be sure, look at the CLI-output.
  2. If you need to filter on destination and port, you have to use extended ACLs and not standard-ACLs
