ASDM Version for asdm-621.bin file

Dear All,

I have CISCO ASA 5510. trying to figure out some issues relating to ASDM . i was working fine with ASDM with asdm-621.bin file. suddenly i face some issue (I think Software Issue) and after that it stops to connect to ASA 5510. i am sure ASA is ok because in my networl i have more then 1 ASA 5510. my machine start same behavior with all ASA that ASDM is not connecting with. i remove ASDM software and re-install it in my laptop. but now when i click OK to connect nothing happend. i think my ASDM software is mismath with asdm-621.bin file. the current version of my cisco ASDM Launched is 1.5(22).

please help me to pin point my issue.

Hi,

To prevent any JAVA incompatibility issue with ASDM , I would recommend to upgrade the ASDM to the latest available firmware which is asdm-732.bin.

Thanks for your reply.... yea you are right....i figure out the issue... recently i upgarde the Java version which causes this issue. reverting Java upgrade resolve the issue....
