Workaround:
You can remove the initial packet file with the command "erase packet-file" and this generally is enough space to get past the errors for config or update.
You will then need to enter into the service account, and remove the pack-file* from the directory "/usr/cids/idsRoot/var". You may use the command:
bash-2.05b# rm /usr/cids/idsRoot/var/packet-file*
This should clean up the packet-files that have been left behind.
Changes to the service account are only recommended with TAC assistance. I would make sure to backup the configuration and do it during a maintenance window.
