Automatic update of IPS on ISR witn no internet access?

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to automate update of IPS signatures on ISR routers that do not have access to internet.

Has anyone dealt with such situation?

I think the ISR's can update the IPS signatures through a local FTP or SCP server but what about automating the download process of new signatures from cisco and into that FTP server?

dont you have to manage the ISR IPS with the Firepower Console?  Thats the way you get your signatures
