newbie question:

Why is the same ip range used in some static configs? For example, with the 10.0.0.0 range below.

static (x,y) 10.0.0.0 10.0.0.0

You use a static command to announce a higher security zone to Lower security Zone , so that they can access the higher security zone.

You might have a private ip in the higher security which you can announce it as public ip to the lower security zone and also announce it as private segment to another lower security zone .So you use the same

ip .
