I am planning to implement BFD on ASA in failover running BGP. Tested it in the lab and seems fine but wanted to know if there are any limitations or need to know facts related to this that I should validate and be aware of.
ASA Version - 9.8.2-20
Came across this bug
CSCvm08769 - Standby unit sending BFD packets with active unit IP, causing BGP neighborship to fail.
But did not see this issue in lab, so assuming this is fixed or is specific to the given version.
If anyone has implemented it before and has any inputs, will be helpful.
