Blocking VPN / Online Proxies using Sourcefire

Is it possible to block VPN or online proxies using sourcefire. I can see a category in applications but using that category the box doesn't block the first proxy site that google throws up.

Any suggestions?

Hi Jetsy, I tried a couple of online proxy sites like https://www.proxysite.com/youtube/ and https://unblockvideos.com/, basically the top google results and I can access them via sourcefire. Rgds Ali

Hi ,

If you have a URL filtering license. You can create a Rule in access control policy with action as Block with URL category as "Proxy avoid and Anonymizers ".

You should be able to block these.
