BVI Interface on Firepower Threat Defense 2120 in Routed Mode

Trying to configure a BVI interface on a 2120 FTD that is managed via FMC.  I'm running 6.3.0.1. When I go to Device Management > Interfaces and select the Add Interfaces drop down, I don't get the option for Bridge Group Interface. I just see +Sub Interface and + EtherChannel Interface. What am I missing?  Using this document as a guide.  Configure the Bridge Virtual Interface (BVI)

Is the FTD in routed mode? This is only supported in transparent mode on the 2100 series.

Referencing the same guide:

For the Firepower 2100 series, bridge groups are not supported in routed mode.
