Hi guys, i just read in FP documentation that bypass mode will have a few packet drops when the FP chassis has been rebooted? Is that true and what is reason why it will have few packet drops? Thanks

Hi,
I also tried this in Fail to Wire module, when enable the by pass mode there is one ping drop when chassis went down. I think the behaviour of fail to wire module will be like that.

Hi @Abheesh Kumar, you are taking about the new FP security appliance right? You know what is the difference between the FTW to the NetMod modules that can do bypass?

Yes i have tested this in 4110 FTD appliance, for by passing traffic even when the chassis is down you required FTW modules. You cannot by pass traffic with the inbuilt modules when chassis is down.
