I have got a blank 4200 FPR that i am trying to configure. I have setup the management IP to access the firepower chassis manager. But when i login into it, i don't get the options to do configurating like making static routes, ACLs etc.

@kevin-smithjuly what image is running, FTD or ASA. Follow the steps in the getting starting guide to setup - https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/secure-firewall/getting-started/4200/fmc-remote/csf-4200-ftd-get-start_fmc-remote/m_before-you-begin.html

Thank you for the reply. Does the firepower needs to be connected to internet?

@kevin-smithjuly If you intend to use cloud management, i.e., CDO or cdFMC, then you will need internet connectivity eventually, but you can get the basics up locally without.
If you intend to manage locally, then no you do not need internet connectivity to setup.

Also, the chassis manager is just for configuring the physical chassis. To configure the firewall logical device (FTD or ASA), you must use the respective firewall manager. For FTD that is either local (FDM) or remote (FMC - either on-premise or in the cloud, if you have that licensed).
