Hi Friends,
I need some information about Failover configuration with ASA.
I have an ASA5540 Box with failover unit, I want to configure statful fail over between this. plz find my queries
1) Do i require a dedicated intrerface for configuring stateful failover in ASA?
2) Can i configure Failover by using the Outside interface connecting to a L2 switch ?
3)Is thre any other option to configure the same with out using a dedicated interface, since i have short of ports for the failover?
I am sorry if i am wrong in the concept. I dont have any exp. in firewalling technology.
