Cannot Access ASDM in Management interface

Hello,

Just wonder why I cannot access ASDM from management interface of Cisco ASA 5520 considering that there is preconfigured ip address in the management interface 0/0 (factory default). When I type https://192.168.1.1 (management 0/0) ASDM site and will promt to install ASDM but after entering the username and password there is a message java.net malformed.

How can I solve this issue?

Hi,

There is no issue with firewall.. You need to check your JAVA version.

I hope there is some issue with your java installation on your local pc

What version of ASDM you are running? Depending upon the Java compatiblity could change. Here is a document that outlines Java requirements for 6.0(3) ASDM version.

Similarly, every ASDM version will have such compatibility information. I would suggest you look into those and check your Java version.
