Hi guys,
I am trying to configure the SNMP service on a Cisco FTD 1140 using CLI, but when trying to apply the changes I get the following error: Error: Changes not allowed. use: 'connect ftd' to make changes. I don't have the FMC, I only have the FDM.
This is the configuration I am doing in FXOS mode
MNM-FTD# scope monitoring
MNM-FTD./monitoring # enable snmp
MNM-FTD /monitoring* # set snmp community
Enter a snmp community:
MNM-FTD /monitoring* # enter snmp-trap 10.20.10.180
MNM-FTD /monitoring/snmp-trap* # set community
Community:
MNM-FTD /monitoring/snmp-trap* # set version v2c
MNM-FTD /monitoring/snmp-trap* # set notificationtype traps
MNM-FTD /monitoring/snmp-trap* # set port 162
MNM-FTD /monitoring/snmp-trap* # exit
MNM-FTD /monitoring* # commit-buffer
Error: Changes not allowed. use: 'connect ftd' to make changes.
The IP is the management interface and it is the one I want to monitor with datadog.
Thanks in advance!
