Cannot SSH to ASA 5550/8.4(3)

I hate feeling stupid but I can't seem to SSH

I receive a failed connection.

This should be super simple but I've got to be mising something,

Your configuration will require your network's routing to present the SSH packets from your source host at 10.1.6.18 to the  ASA's management interface,

It seems odd to have the management VLAN's Layer 3 set up as a /16 (255.255.0.0). Is that your intention? If so, you will need to have that consistently set on the VLAN's gateway. Otherwise ARP will not resolve the MAC of your Management0/0 interface.

Where is the connection failed, do you get any promts?
