changing timeout values on PIX

Hello all,

I would like to know if I change timeouts on PIX firewall, do I just need "clear xlate" to bring them into effect or something else is required.

That should do fine! A clear will help you monitor an entry and thus verify if xlate timeout happens in the appropriate configured time period.
