Hi,
I am configuring a Cisco ASA 4100 FPR Device. I have the device plugged in and racked, as well as the cables in management, inside and outside interfaces.
I connect my computer via console to begin the start up configuration, when I do this it asks me the following configuration:
Switch Fabric=A
System Name=
Enforced Strong Password=no
Physical Switch Mgmt0 IP Address=
Physical Switch Mgmt0 IP Netmask=
Default Gateway=
Ipv6 value=
DNS Server=
Domain Name=
I have already configured a previous 4100 device and it asked me about configuring https and ssh access like the below:
Do you want to configure IP block for ssh access? (yes/no) [y]: y
SSH IP block address :
SSH IPv4 block netmask :
Do you want to configure IP block for https access? (yes/no) [y]: y
HTTPS IP block address :
HTTPS IPv4 block netmask :
But.. this second device did not prompt with any https or ssh so once I set up the initial config I can't reach it via https or ssh as it did not ask me to set anything which is strange. Has anyone seen this happen before? Or know why maybe it is coming up with the incorrect menu?
Thanks in advance !! :)

Hi,
Thank you!
I had already reset the device three times, but I used different configurations:
“connect local-mgmt”
and then
“erase configuration”.
I will try the way you gave me below to see if that helps. thanks :)
