Guys
what is the data buffer size on cisco asa 5512-x?
I was asked by customer how much data can be stored locally on cisco asa 5512-x in case of the syslog server goes down (currently our firewall is connected to a PC that has syslog server installed and all cisco log gets sent to this PC)
I could not find this info on the cisco 5512-x data sheet ...
thanks

I looked it up in the book "Cisco ASA, PIX, and FWSM Firewall Handbook" and confirmed the command parameters in the ASA Command reference and double checked the same range applies on a production 5512-X.
This link in the command reference should serve you well:

By default the internal buffer is 4096 bytes long and can hold about 100 messages. You can adjust the size to as much as 1,048,576 bytes (~25,000 messages) using the "logging buffer-size" command
