Hi, I have upgraded both ASA and ASDM to version (12.4) & (7.131 (101)) respectively. After the upgrade, I found out that console port is no longer working. In fact, I confirmed a working PUTTY with the default data rate: 9600, Data bits: 8, Parity: None, Stop bits: 1 and no flow control settings for other Cisco device console port except ASA 5515-x returns no output messages.
To further investigation, I have also tried using different ASA and ASDM version combinations, but no luck. Meanwhile, ASDM can be accessed in normal against Management port in default settings. Interfaces are working fine.
Any ideas or what else I should check further for troubleshooting. Many thanks.

ouch... I can feel the pain, the pressure and the frustration.
have you checked all the release notes before upgrading the software on this unit 5515? double check if you are running the latest ROMM code on the unit. I had a similar issue on 5545-X series with version 9.12.x last year. I have to revert my change. revert your change to cisco asa 9.8.32 is gold star here . if you have a support with TAC open a case. as long as you have ASDM access least your production traffic is working.

HI Sheraz.Salim,
I had tried version 9.8.32 as well, however console port is still not function.
By all means, the console port is certified as dead. nowadays, I will consider an upgrade of ASA for extensive function and support. anyways, thanks for your feedbacks.
