Cisco ASA 5520

Wanted to know the latest version of IOS for the Cisco ASA 5520.  I am currently running 8.0.  What are the steps involved in upgrading to the latest version, and how/where do I download the IOS?

Hi,

For ASA 5520, 9.1.6 is the latest release. Since you are currently on 8.0, you can upgrade to 8.2.5.x on that train. You can move to 9.x as well but please be aware of the major changes in NAT syntax etc .

Please go through the release notes before you decide to upgrade beyond 8.2.
